Ask.com is going to launch a contextual advertising product just like Adsense. The company hopes to win over publishers by attacking one of AdSence’s biggest weaknesses - transparency. Ask’s contextual product will be available on May 21st for publishers to sign up.

New Adsense Ad formats

I have been noticing a change in Ads format for my Adsense Ads for the past few days. Infact, after extensive research google has started testing their ads with a new format. Google claims that not only is this visually appealing to the users, but also performs much better than it’s predecessor. The one draw back to this ad format is that even if the publisher is not happy with the format he can do nothing as this cannot be reverted back to the previous formats.
